Sake Born from the Blessings of Obihiro Tokachi

Pure water and the finest rice are essential for making delicious sake. This sake uses natural water from the Satsunai River system, which has been recognized as Japan’s clearest river multiple times, along with three types of rice cultivated by trusted local producers. It is packed with the essence of Tokachi.  

Sake Brewing and Research! Sake Made by a Woman Aspiring to Be a Toji (Master Brewer)

"碧雲蔵(Hekiungura)" is Japan’s only on-campus sake brewery, collaborating with Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine to develop talent through university-led research. Dr. Momoka Yamane, who holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Science, works as the Deputy Toji(assistant chief brewer), constantly researching how to make even better sake while brewing it!
